To gather targeted feedback and gain clear insights, the first step is to select who will receive your survey. Our platform gives you precise control to ensure you reach the right audience.

1. Applying Filters for Targeted Insights
You can send surveys to broad groups or filter down to a more specific audience. To begin, choose from the main participant groups: Staff, Students, and Parents.
Staff: Filter by school, job title, full/part time, job role (e.g., teachers, support staff).
Students: Filter by key characteristics from your MIS (e.g., Pupil Premium status, year group).
Parents: Filters will correspond to their child's attributes.
To narrow your audience, simply turn off the 'All' toggle for a group and use the drop-down menus to make your selection. You can use the (+) and (-) buttons to add or remove criteria, allowing you to create a specific list (e.g., selecting 'Teachers' AND 'Full-time').
2. Enabling Accessibility Support (Optional)
To ensure your survey is accessible to everyone, you can enable the Accessibility Widget (Widgit). This tool adds symbols to the survey questions to support users with communication challenges. You can turn this on for all participants, or they can enable it themselves when they open the survey. This will be switched on by default for students in Year 4 and under.
3. Reviewing Your Participant Count
As you apply filters, the total number of participants will update automatically on screen. For a detailed view of who is included, click 'Show Participants'. Please note that for data protection reasons, this list is for on-screen viewing only and cannot be downloaded.
4. Saving Your Selection
Once you are happy with your selection, click 'Save and Next' to proceed.
